Our core principle: Kojori is a local-first application. Your data stays on your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Kojori is designed with privacy at its core:
- Your documents and files — stored locally on your device, never transmitted to us
- Your workspace sessions — stored locally on your device
- Your API keys and credentials — stored locally on your device
- Your AI conversations — sent directly to third-party providers, we never see them
- Your browsing data — browser tabs within Kojori are stored locally
We do not have access to your content. We cannot read, analyze, or monitor your work.
Information We Collect
Purchase Information
When you purchase Kojori, payment is processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects:
- Email address
- Payment information
- Billing address
- Transaction details
We receive from Paddle:
- Your email address (for license delivery and support)
- Purchase confirmation and license status
- Country (for tax purposes)
We do NOT receive or store your payment card details.
Email Collection
When you sign up for early access, waitlist, or newsletter, we collect:
We use your email to:
- Provide early access or waitlist updates
- Send product announcements and updates
- Communicate important information about Kojori
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email.
Website Analytics
We use PostHog (posthog.com) to understand how visitors use our website (kojori.app). PostHog collects:

- Anonymized usage patterns
We use PostHog Cloud (US) for website analytics. PostHog maintains appropriate data protection safeguards for international transfers. We do not use this data to identify individual users.

All application data is stored locally on your device:

- Your workspace files: wherever you choose to store them

We cannot recover your data if your device is lost or damaged.

The limited data we receive (email, purchase info) is:
- Stored securely with appropriate safeguards
